Week 2: Reflection

 I have always been an ideas person -- but without a lot of the real-world tools to make any of those ideas come to life. In this way, studying business has been sort of difficult for me. I sometimes feel like I'm better with ideas than I am with the real work. When we had to talk about the case studies and offer opinions based on our key word research, I felt a wave of imposter syndrome sweeping over me. This is not the first time during my degree – nor will it probably be the last – that I was concerned with whether or not I was smart enough to be studying business. But I always take comfort in the idea that when you are an entrepreneur, there may have been countless people who came before you, but they will not know your unique path. You can study all you want, but no amount of books or reading will give you the answers – you kind of just have to try, and fail, and keep trying until you figure it out.
